Responsibilities
In this position, you will perform plan production tasks using CAD at the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager. You will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase, through the initial planning submittals, and final design. You can expect to work on a wide variety of project types, including private site development, public utility, public roadway, and structural plans. Responsibilities include:
Importing topographic surveys and creating 3D surface models.
Exhibit creation and edits.
Prepare initial drafts of proposed improvements with input from the supervisor.
Plan Production including sheet set-up.
Performing plan mark-up corrections.
Qualifications
Associate degree in a civil engineering-related field.
4+ years of experience in site design and drafting is strongly preferred.
CAD software experience is required; experience with Microstation/Geopak is preferred.
Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
