IT consulting and staffing, built for how work actually gets done
We are a technology staffing and consulting firm, not a resume mill. We place engineers, data specialists, cloud architects, and security professionals into contract and contract-to-hire roles across the United States — and we tell everyone involved the truth about rates, timelines, and fit.
The roles the market is actually paying for
We work a narrower set of requisitions than a volume shop, and we work them properly. Fewer submissions, higher hit rates, consultants who stay.
Cloud & Platform
The largest single source of enterprise contract spend, and the hardest to fill well.
- AWS, Azure, GCP architects
- Kubernetes and Terraform engineers
- Platform and SRE
- Migration specialists
Data Engineering
Currently the tightest supply-demand gap in the contract market.
- Snowflake and Databricks
- Spark, dbt, Airflow
- Streaming with Kafka
- Analytics engineers
AI & Machine Learning
Clients increasingly filter for people who have shipped and evaluated a system, not completed a course.
- LLM and RAG engineers
- MLOps and model deployment
- Data scientists
- Applied research
Software Engineering
The steady core of the market. Deep benches in the stacks enterprises actually run.
- Java and Spring Boot
- .NET and C#
- Python, Node, Go
- React and frontend
Cybersecurity
Consistently under-supplied, and the roles most often left open for months.
- IAM and cloud security
- GRC and compliance
- SOC and incident response
- Application security
Enterprise & ERP
Less fashionable, extremely well paid, and chronically short of good people.
- SAP and S/4HANA
- Salesforce and ServiceNow
- Mainframe modernisation
- QA automation and SDET
Why clients keep calling us back
Because we deliver software as well as staff it, the engineers who screen your candidates are the ones shipping production code.
Screened by practitioners
A senior engineer reviews every candidate before you see the resume. We would rather send you three people who can do the job than thirty who match the keywords.
They stay through the contract
Our consultants extend at a high rate because we pay on time, sponsor properly, and do not bench them unpaid. Retention is a symptom, not a slogan.
An honest slate, or an honest no
For most roles we deliver a qualified slate in 48 hours. For genuinely rare skills we tell you it will take a week — rather than sending filler to look busy.
How we fill a role
No black box, no resume spam.
Intake
A technical conversation about the role, not a keyword list.
Source & Screen
A senior engineer screens before anything reaches you.
Submit
A short slate, each with a written case for why they fit.
Support
Onboarding, payroll, compliance, and check-ins through the contract.
How we are different from the firm that called you yesterday
Most staffing calls start with a recruiter who cannot pronounce the technology on the requisition. Ours start with someone who has read the codebase requirements and can tell you whether the role is actually a fit — including when it is not.
We work a narrower set of requisitions than a volume shop, and we work them properly. That means fewer submissions, higher hit rates, and consultants who stay through the contract instead of leaving in month two.
- Technical screening by practitioners. A senior engineer reviews every candidate before a client ever sees the resume.
- No blind submissions. We do not shop your resume. Every submission is approved by the consultant, for that specific role.
- Full rate transparency. Consultants know the pay rate and the layers. Clients know the bill rate and the margin.
- We keep people. Our consultants stay because we pay on time, sponsor properly, and do not bench them without pay.
What we staff
Our bench and network concentrate on the roles the US contract market is actually paying for right now.
- Cloud and platform engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Data engineering and analytics (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Spark, Airflow)
- AI/ML and LLM engineering (model deployment, RAG systems, MLOps)
- Full stack and backend (Java, .NET, Python, Node, React)
- DevOps and SRE (CI/CD, observability, reliability)
- Cybersecurity (IAM, GRC, cloud security, SOC)
- ERP, integration, and QA automation
Engagement models
We work whichever way the role requires, and we will tell you which one is genuinely better for your situation rather than the one that pays us more.
| Model | Best for | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Contract | Defined scope, surge capacity, specialist skills | 3–18 months |
| Contract-to-hire | Evaluating fit before a permanent commitment | 3–6 months, then convert |
| Direct hire | Core team roles | Permanent |
| Statement of work | Outcome-owned delivery with our team leading | Project-based |
Questions we get asked
How quickly can you deliver candidates?
For most roles we deliver a first slate of qualified, screened, and interested candidates within 48 hours. For deeply specialised roles it can take a week — and we will tell you that up front rather than sending filler resumes to look busy.
Do you charge a conversion fee on contract-to-hire?
We use a declining conversion schedule that reaches zero. We are not interested in trapping a consultant in a contract when both sides want to make it permanent.
Do you sponsor work authorization?
Yes, for consultants we employ on W-2. We file H-1B transfers, extensions, and amendments, and we sponsor green card cases. We pay all petition costs. See Immigration Support.
What is your replacement guarantee?
If a placement does not work out within the guarantee period, we replace the consultant at no additional cost. Terms are in every agreement, and we do not argue about them.
Tell us what you are trying to build.
Whether you need one engineer or a team, start with a conversation — not a portal.
